Tiny Toes: 18 months- 3 years
Our Tiny Toes program is a wonderful way for your toddler to engage the love of dance in a fun and creative environment. The class setting is flexible to roam, yet structured enough helping you engage your child in the activities. All classes are parent participation. We believe that this is the best way to teach children at this special age, as you truly are their "first teacher". Our friendly music, creative movement games, and fun dress up time are all ways we like to engage children into dance.

THE FOLLOWING LEVELS ARE ELIGIBLE TO PERFORM IN OUR WINTER SHOWCASE, and END OF THE YEAR RECITAL EACH SEASON!
Petite Elite: 3-7 years
Our Petite Elite program is jammed packed full of fun and learning. At this age we see a little bit more independence for these young dancers on the dance floor. At this level all students take a course called Combo Dance. This allows us to introduce the three foundational methods of Classical Ballet, Jazz, and Tap dance. This curriculum helps them learn the basics of "step value" on the dance floor. As they grow in their dance education they will see how several of the foundational movements link up to other styles of dance. Foundation is key at Rhythms Elite. We believe it sets the road for a dancer to travel far. Classes are structured yet still playful and very enjoyable for our dancers. We also allow dress up and free dance time at the end of each class to keep the creativity growing.
Junior Elite: 6-11 years
This is the level where our students begin to look like what most people would recognize as "real dancers". Our expectations at this level is for students to take foundational skills and begin to work on mastering them, preparing them for the next level to grow into stunts, consecutive turning, jumps, partnering and more. Our Junior students come to class ready to work and focus on learning. We encourage them to adopt self discipline and to continue their practice beyond the studio. We also allow students to study one dance style at a time in order to perfect any specific styles of their interest.
Senior Elite: 10-18 years
Our Senior Dancers are our highest level of dance in the academy. Our beginning and intermediate group devotes on average 4-6 hours of class per week. Advanced Senior's devote up to 10 hours of training per week. Our program encourages them to continue development and training of the basic foundational skills while learning new ways to express and perform them. Expectations are very high for this group and we expect serious and focused students who are at class to learn and work hard. This level offers an exciting opportunity as they are learning to take more risks and to accomplish new personal dance goals. At this level our dancers can contend to intern at REA and begin learning about how to teach dance assisting with other instructors in the school. As a Senior Elite, dancers can audition for our National Championship Dance Team (auditions are once a year in August) and begin to travel and perform all over California and beyond.
